Carmen Dell’Orefice the oldest working and to my knowledge healthiest and most fit model maybe ever.
She has a book Titled: Staying Beautiful: Beauty Secrets and Attitudes from my Forty Years As a Model
I purchased the book today and can hardly wait for it to arrive! (I would also check and see if your local library has it and if not request it so that maybe they will order it if not.)
This woman’s life is inspirational!
This is on the menu for Saturday! I will let you know how I like it!
Step-by-step Instructions for One-Ingredient Ice Cream. (http://www.thekitchn.com)
1) Pick a couple of ripe bananas. They should be sweet and soft but not too mushy.
2) Peel the bananas and cut them into coins
3) Freeze the banana pieces for at least an hour or two.
4) Put the pieces into a food processor or blender.
5) Blend on high. Initially they will look crumbly and piecemeal. The mixture will probably get stuck a lot. Keep scraping down the bowl. Suddenly, as you keep blending, you will see a change.
6) The bananas turn creamy!
7) (Optional) Now is the time to add a scoop of peanut butter, honey, or anything else you care to mix in.
8) The ice cream will be the texture of soft-serve, but if you freeze again in an airtight container, it will get harder and more like regular ice cream.
this sounds excellent!

This photo is perfect!
Grass, sun, bare feet, inspiration,…ah…
Towards the end of Summer 2011, I experienced (notice I did NOT say suffered!) an accident. I was thrown from a horse AND stepped on! As a result I had surgery the following day and lost a quarter of an inch of muscle.
NOW, a quarter of an inch is not much in most things, but muscle!!! Why oh why could it not have been fat?!
Oh well. As a result, my fitness while not completely stopping, nearly did so out of necessity for the last four months. Now however, my surgery incision and muscle have almost reached the completion of their healing.
Let me tell you, I am itching to begin again, to smell and feel the grass beneath my feet, the sweet sweat pouring from my pours and lovely, invigorating muscle growing, growing, growing once more!!!!
So, here is the deal: I am looking for people to join. The beginning of each new year stereotypically “causes” many people to reevaluate where they are and where they would like to be. Maybe this is you or maybe you have been and continue to be steady and progressing nicely. OR, maybe you have tried before and while you would like to achieve your goals, you don’t even want to begin again for fear of not achieving them.
Whatever the case maybe, I am inviting you to: JOIN ME PLEASE.
On Monday, I will post my current weight, photo (from the neck down) together with my goals and how I plan to achieve them.
This blog is about FITNESS LIVED, so how I/we will keep track of our journey will take shape as it lives, with each day, week, question, and learned information from all of us.
About Me: Fitness, is fairly new to me but not completely, I am currently working on my certification as a Fitness Coach and since I began fitness roughly two years ago, I have lost 28lbs and even without begin able to work out these past several months, due to healthy changes in my diet, I have been able to maintain my weight!!!! THIS IS AWESOME! (more about me later)
If you want to be a part of this journey, then reblog and comment so that I am able to follow you and reblog your fitness journey here as well.
TOGETHER, we CAN CHANGE THE WORLD - one person at a time!
